Hey all,
This Might not be the right place but it is a gear question, At the Moment I got a Macbook Pro 15" 2.4, 4 Gigs of Ram, and a 8600 GT 256mb. Is this sufficent to some video editing nothing crazy just some PvP videos. I was wondering what was a program a little bit heftier then Imovie that i can do some editings and just some filters and sum slow motion? Nothing crazy right now since im a noob at video editing. Lots of folk have done machinima on significantly worse machines. I really don't know much about available software for the mac, though.

There are Adobe After Effects for mac and other nifty programs.

You may find about it at Adobe's website as well. Though you'll need a lot of learning for it. I'll recommend firstly videocopilot.net for some post-production tutorials. It's pretty good, and it's free (despise the products it has). But really, most of these tutorials need something like the Trapcode plugins, like Particular or so. --------------------  |
