 Best rendering that doesnt take to much space |

I was wondering how i get the best quality and not a idiotic sized file, i just did some tests with uncompressed and got 1.17 gig or so with 0.40 mins video, and it wasnt really good quality either.
So is there a good codec to use to make good quality for warcraftmovies? Using Sony Vegas pro 9 |
