I'm running on a 9800 GT nvidia.
And im hooked up to a 1920x1200 widescreen monitor.

So basically I'm looking for the ideal or "Standard" resolution people record their footage at?
Also what is the standard resolution to export as?

Most common codecs are H.264 (video) and AAC (audio).

May I ask where the H.264 codec/encoder can be found?

This here's an interesting documentary film being made about MMORPG gamers. The trailer looks intriguing.

SECOND SKIN

-.-

That was kind of a downer to watch. But relatable to an extent. Thanks for making me feel like a loser. :'(

Maybe because uncompressed .AVI eats is too fat for your PC? Because it has enormous bitrate and not worse the quality. I recommend exporting compressed in 100% quality mode :)

hmmm ill keep tweaking the settings i guess, power shouldnt be an issue with my comp.

So im working on a video, and everything seems just peachy inside of Adobe Premiere pro 2.0

But when i do a File>>>Export>>uncompressed AVI the sound skips every second and the video doesn't seem to play...it flashes select frames.
any suggestions?

I'm wondering the best render options for lossless renders.
I seem to get a lot of quality loss no matter what options.

What do you guys use for your full setup?
Project settings to render settings(priemere pro 2.0)

To me, it's simply the whole experience.
Sitting down, brainstorming on shots, finding the best way to achieve the shot, then making sure it all worked out.
Meeting new people, while learning, shooting, editing, or whatever else you find yourself doing for the production.
Listening/Editing music for the film is always relaxing.(till you've heard the same clip 143543-9534432 times while you try and perfect it)

I unno, it's all connected to me, and therefore machinima is the one thing I've found I love about machinima.

Now wait, when you said animated logo, Tristan, are you talking about an animated GIF, or actual video we could stick on to the beginnings/ends of films we make? Because I'm already getting a few ideas about the latter.

Sounds like an in-movie ad to me.
much like warcraftmovies.com

EDIT -
got bored so I literally JUST threw this one together.
It's choppy and eh. i know. and no sound is always a downside. But I wanted to make sure I was creating the type of thing you were looking for before I went all out on this -.-

Well hello there.
Some of you may or may not remember me :-) But here I am again.
EXTREMELY EXCITED that M101 is back!

Still working on The Forsaken and well as a new small project entitled "Gnome Fishing." It's a very infomercial esque production and has proven to be ALOT of fun. Should be wrapping it up for release in a month or two :-)

I've come a long ways from day 1, yet, still a lot to learn. I've been waiting forever for M101 to return so I could continue learning from the pros of the business. And again OMG IM SO GLAD YOU'RE BACK!

anywho more about me:
My name is Vincent Arriola. I'm attending college, working on my degree in digital art and graphic design. Only community colelge for now, but lined up for the Art Institute in San Diego next year.(can't wait)

I'm a complete and total WoW addict, but school, work and my g/f seem to put a lot of that on hold, but every free second I have im putting into raiding on WoW or working on one of my two current Machinima Projects.

anywho glad to see you all again and hope we go strong!

the point to be made here...
u guys created it... you know WHAT YOU WERE CREATING.
we don't. so of course to you it will be as clear as day what everything means.

to an outsider who hasnt worked on it or didnt write it...it's all interpreted through their eyes and their mind.

i thought this was interesting...
considering the mom is crying that he plays too much WoW, but she is the one paying for the game and the internet.

bad parenting for the loss.
