World of Gnomecraft is the sequel to World of Warcraft. It will be released worldwide in the year 2029, only for the Commodore 64 computer system.

WoGC centers around the gnomish race turning against everyone else in the world of Azeroth. Will anyone survive?

Or, alternatively all this is just false information. It could be that this is a fake trailer which I made for the German web-magazine buffed.de - they wanted something special for their 150th video-show.

So, I was flying around in Elwynn and found this lonely little house in mountains. It had no residents so that had to be changed!

This is my vision of a gnome-styled penthouse high above.

The area features a racing track, teleporters, chillout zone by a beach (the chill zone is equipped with drinkable, eatable and smokable products), swimming pool, three different bars, a garage and a personal warship for destroying things you do not like!

And if that ain't enough, there's also penguins, iceblocks, mechagnomes and a device which changes day to night (and vice versa) by a single button push!

I've never done any area creation before so this is my first time. Everything was created by spawning gameobjects (the easy newb mode).

Point of this video? To make you smile :)

I am recruiting voice actors for a project which has a silliness / retardness scale over 9000.

It is a sequel to a movie which has not been or possibly will not ever get made.

If you are an experienced voice actor with good recording equipment, you might be the guy or girl I'm looking for :)

The indepth descriptions about the voices and all that jazz can be found at this post on my blog.

How wrong can one fishing trip go?

Find that out and many other things in this movie which mixes surreal fantasy, model changing, gnomes, action, drama and almost every other movie genre.

No Point: Stretching Time is my biggest and longest machinima to date. I personally am very happy with the end result. For a more in-depth and detailed "Making Of", head over to my blog.

This movie is inteded to be downloaded and viewed at the biggest possible video/audio system. Do not ruin your experience by streaming!

Enough with the chitchat, let's get to the links!

Found out about this cool little plugin during weekend and made a little experiment with it:

click me to watch, since I am most definitely not a rickroll

It won't make 100% cartoons out of your videos, but the idea is nice. Screenshots with comparison (before & after) and a little review can be found at my blog.

That effect is very pie to create with Photoshop. Probably with After Effects too (don't know as I don't use it) but very hard or impossible using Vegas' native effects.

Let the over-using of Cartoonr begin!

thanks your replay,Baron

when background and Character all in WOW, I can do that.

but When the background can't filmed in WOW, Filmed from UT2004 or Half-life and etc

how to Synchronous the Camera and the Character?

for example, in <i'm so sick> time 02:09 to 02:11, Bassman play bass on the airplane engine.

Background(airplane engine) Filmed form another game,

Bassman rotate exactly with Background.

i can't make that

That background is also from WoW, I filmed it inside a Karazhan rooftop.

Hi all, i'm a chinese Machinima fans, and this is my Work: (FLV):

http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNTE4NjcyMjA=.html

I VeryVery like Baron's Machinima <i'm so sick>... I Want to make my Machinima as good as he do.

Someone can help me about : How did Baron can rotate the character Synchronous With the Camera So Perfectly?

My method is:

Record the character rotate in Wow Model Viewer, and Record the Background rotate in Wow. and Compound these layer in AE.

But i can't make the Rotate Synchronous Perfectly

May be he Use the Boujou to calcula Camera Postion then make the Compound in Maya or 3D Max?

I filmed it ingame, using the CameraPlus or ImprovedCamera addon.

Those addons are useless now since they have not been updated for the latest WoW.

Okay, thats a start for me, but on some of the WoW Model Veiwer programs, such as Ragnaros, Broken Kael'Thas, or any Human female character or NPC, they either cant be shown or they just plain dont look right.

How can this be resolved?

And what about WoW Map Viewer for WotLK?

The only way to resolve it is to program WoW model viewer to support the new .m2 format. That is going to take a while, the WoW model viewer forums are the place to get updates on the issue.

Till then, the only solution is to use a separate copy of older WoW and the old model viewer.

This is a movie which I've been working on since march of 2008. It sat on my HD untouched for a couple of months, but I continued editing in august.

Now, a majority of it has been edited but there's still quite much work to do. I hope I get the full thing out before 2009.

The movie itself is a mixture of multi-game machinima, model changes, action and surreal fantasy.

There will be gnomes.
No Rickrolls. Really!
Dead murlocs - possibly.

Watch it:

Gametube stream
WeGame stream
YouTube stream

Download @ Filefront

Bonus stuffz! There's also this little preview of the actual movie which has gone through lots of tweaking by today.

Hi, Ive been told that all the programs I need for making a machinima movie is: WoW, model/mapviewer and vegas/premiere pro. Been wondering bout how u make the camera move exactly as u wish, for example, the smooth camera clips in the beginning of "Busted!" and making them match to the characters? thx :)

Daniel

Pink made them with a 3D modeling program called Lightwave.

Most of the other camera pans in Busted are made using private server filming.

I finally got to raid Naxxramas, thanks to the organized raids on my realm.
Pewpew, aggressive music, Mr Wiggles and orcish crossdressing are the things you will find on this video!
There is also an easter egg after the end credits.

HAI 2 U!

It's voting time again. Warcraftmovies.com had a contest where you needed to make a machinima based on a premade script. This time I did not enter alone, but as a collaboration with Pinkhair.

The voice cast includes Caruu, Drewbie, Olibith and Selserene.

As guest stars you get to see Snacky, Roberto and Angie (from Snacky's journal), Newbie Drewbie (a young Drewbie - not yet epixxed out), Olibith and some others!

This is what you need to click:

You can do the actual voting here. The site needs registration for that.

If you have issues watching the movies, update your Flash player.

This machinima is a recreation of the Final Fantasy VI ending cinematic (of PlayStation version) using WoW machinima as the technique.

The original cut which was submitted to WWI'08 was disqualified, so I decided to give the flick some remaking and tweaking. This remastered version has now the exact same texts as in the PlayStation version in the beginning and the end.

Also, the excellent sound design by Caruu got some little tweaks here and there.

Last but not least.. a small group of people (me included) are planning to make this thing a full-length machinima. To be more exact: adapting the Final Fantasy VI story to a WoW setting. Currently we are on the pre-production phase (scriptwriting etc). Filming can start when we get our hands on WOTLK as it is necessary for some of the locations.

I really recommend and hope that you download the movie. I am very pleased with the audiovisual result and I hope that many people view it through the biggest speakers and screens as possible :)

I made a little amateur video which combines RL footage and machinima about my Paris trip.

It is narrated in some weird moon language - but no worries! The entire thing is subtitled for the people who cannot read!

Stream @ Machinima.com

..but that's not all!

I also recorded the full L70ETC (or actually L80ETC) concert and one song from the Video Games Live Performance.

I got hired for machinima.com to be their WoW community manager (bye bye unemployment!).

A private server is the closest thing you can currently get for an own machinima realm. For me it does the job perfectly.

There is someting that looks like a plot in this creepy, eerie and gloomy little music video: an undead shadowpriestess blows up foul alliance and other fiendish things with an instacast shadownova.

Keep your eyes wide shut and you might see some companion cubes too!

The absolutely amazing picture in the end credits is made by Keora. You can see more of her work at http://ad-xian.deviantart.com
