Hey there guys!
I need some help with sony vegas!
Could any of you tell me the way to make stuff slower or faster ?
And how to "cut" a clip over so it becomes to 2 seperat clips ?

For speeding up/slowing down you can right-click the footage and select Remove/insert Envelope and chooose "add velocity". The line that appears over the footage can be dragged down for slowing down, or dragged up for speeding up.

Making a cut is easy. Just go to the moment you want to cut and press the S key.

you can "crop" clips using the trimmer. you can do that by selecting a region you want isolated (region=the two yellow tabs in the trimmer)

then if you want a quick slo mo/speed up effect, you can just hold ctrl [or alt, i'm not sure just try lol] while "shortening" the clips you used on the movie itself. you'll notice that if you drag the ends of the clip you used they cut off either the end or the beginning. by holding ctrl [or alt haha] while dragging it'll shorten/expand the clip therefore making it play in slo mo/fast forward. :)
