so ive been working on my new machinima for a little bit now (www.bearanimations.blogspot.com) and ive learned alot but it takes me forever to make a single scene. what i normally do is film all the characters and backrounds in a scene then go into after effects and put them all together and such. i was wondering how you guys are doing it. i wanna make my machinima good but i wanna make it a bit faster because it took me a long time to make this one. thanks guys!!

We are the same people as you, we're from the same planet using same technology... so no, there's no faster way of doing it. Only brainstorm could help you to save some time in variety of scenes. If you know what do you want exactly to do and which effects to apply, the process goes much faster. This comes with time. -------------------- ![]() |

Plan, plan, plan. Measure twice, cut once. don't shoot a ton of extra footage, unless you have tons of unused storage space. Plan your hour long test renders to go over dinner. Figure out which assets can be reused.
