Adobe Premiere - problem with character animation Options

Hi,

I'm working on a WoW project for my guild. I use Fraps to capture characters from WoW Model Viewer.

When I look the capture, the animations are good, equal to those from Model Viewer.

After, I insert this capture to my Adode Premiere project (30fps/s, 720/480) and export the video to check the result. My problem is here :( I have strange result when the character move any part of his body. I have the same result if I use blue keying effect or not.

Hey Namih!

I can tell you with 97.5% certainty that your video is getting distorted through your encoder. There are so many many many export settings, depending how many codecs and formats you're choosing from, that it would be hard for me to pin down the exact problem your having.

My advice would be to identify the encoder you want to use (DivX, Xvid, WMV, quicktime, etc.) and search around for guides on using the best encoder settings for those formats. Godfather put up a nice Xvid guide here. Personally, I use WMV because I find it easiest, and it tends to give very good compression ratios.

Also, I note you exported an avi. If the material you're exporting is meant to be intermediate footage (i.e. you're going to work on it some more), I would export it uncompressed. That might be prohibitive for you, depending on your hard disk space, but sending compressed footage through multiple encodings is just going to put more artifacts in the final version.

I did a test using XviD MPEG-4 Codec and the result is better than 3ivd D4 4.5.1 Pro Video Codec I used at the beginning !
